Eva Tsagaraki
Eva Tsagaraki is a visual artist and performer based in Athens. A graduate with the highest honors of the Athens School of Fine Arts , she studied sculpture and multimedia under Professor George Lappas. She is working with a broad variety of mediums from sculpture and painting to performance video and contemporary dance.
She has been working with photography since 2004. She started learning close to Eva Katsaiti and continoued with Manolis Babousis at the Fine Arts Academy. In 2013 she studied with scholarship at Paris 8 University where she practised chinese painting and completed the theoritical and practice based thesis- projet tutore ''Ma Reflections Cycliques et Rituelles''.
She is practicing butoh dance, contact improvisation, martial and healing arts utilizing the experience of these art forms into visual arts. She is performing since 2009 and was a member of the “Wrong Movement” dance company of Konstantin Michos.
In 2012-13 created a fine art documentary on ancient healing practices of the shamans in Colombia.
In 2015 presented the diploma show at the Fine Arts Academy of Athens
and organised The Fine Arts and Dance Festival in Leros island.

In 2017 she made a presentation-lecture of her work Ma- Reflections Cycliques et Rituelles at the 2nd International Symposioum Performance Philosophy at the National Contemporary Museum of Athens (EMST)
